How difficult is the hiking?

The hike is moderate in difficulty. It involves some uphill walking and uneven terrain, but it is suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness. Guides are available to assist and set a comfortable pace.

We recommend comfortable hiking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), layered clothing for varying temperatures,  water, a camera, and any personal items you may need overnight. It is also recommended to bring extra snacks, or drinks, as there are limited options available at the glamping sites.

Yes. Our glamping sites include hotel-like accommodations in a natural setting, so you will have everything you need including a comfortable bed for your overnight stay. The exact accommodations will depend on availability, but we will provide details when you make a reservation.

Yes, this tour is a private tour and we can accommodate 2 to 4 people in most of our glamping sites. For larger groups, please contact us for availability with the possibility of booking multiple glamping sites.

Your glamping site is equipped with a private bathroom and there are restrooms available at key stops along the tour. During hiking sections of the journey, there may be limited options available due to remote areas.

The Maragua Crater Hike & Glamping tour is a two day, one night experience. You will have a full-day itinerary around the Maragua Crater area starting at 7:30 am on day one, followed by a restful night at one of our glamping sites. On the second day, you will have a peaceful morning in nature, followed by a hike to visit seven waterfalls and return transportation to Sucre by 5 pm.
