Our 2-Day Sajama National Park Tour begins with an early departure from La Paz, stopping at ancient chullpas and taking you across the sweeping altiplano to the remote village of Curahuara de Carangas. Known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes,” its 17th-century church is adorned with stunning murals that bring Bolivia’s history to life. After a traditional lunch, you’ll set out on a trek through the surreal Kalachua rock formations, where time and wind have sculpted caves and towers in a landscape unlike anywhere else. As evening approaches, you’ll settle into your accommodation and enjoy a warm dinner in the shadow of the Andes.

Day two immerses you fully in the heart of Sajama National Park. From the colorful Flamingo Lagoon to the imposing stone walls known as Las Murallas, every stop reveals a different side of this high-altitude wilderness. The tour begins with hotel pick-up in La Paz and returns you to your hotel in the late afternoon of Day 2. We can also accommodate airport or bus terminal pickup & drop-off. Just let us know where you want to go and we will be happy to help!
